Why I Love Drum Lid Mixers
One of the easiest ways to quickly mix your 55 gal drum is to utilize drum lid mixers. What this mixer allows you to do is unlatch your drum lid and then lower a new drum lid (with your drum lid agitator attached) in place, hook up your power source, (either air or electric) and go. You don't have to worry about material splashing or the impellers occasionally impacting the side of the drum. You may even want to attach the drum lid mixer onto a lift stand and automatically raise and lower it into position. This is very convenient if you are looking to mix one drum after another.
