This bung mounted drum mixer threads directly into standard 2" NPT bung fittings, allowing for mixing in drums with lids. The mixer will work both in side and center placed bung openings. All bung mount mixers come with a folding impeller, uniquely designed to slip through a bung opening and open once the motor is powered on. Constructed with a heavy duty air motor, this bung mounted mixer is safe for use in hazardous environments and requires minimal maintenance. This mixer utilizes a gearbox, allowing for lower RPMs and higher torque for even the most challenging applications. A heat treated aluminum housing provides both outstanding durability and lightweight portability. The wetted materials are constructed of 316 or 304 grade stainless steel for high corrosion and abrasion resistance.
